FAQ
Some frequently asked questions we love to answer.
What if there is a problem with my order?
Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions about your order. We will be happy to do all we can to make your experience with Felipe & Grace positive and hassle-free.
How do I care for my sink?
We recommend using Howard Butcher Block Conditioner regularly to maintain the seal and shine of a raw-finished sink. Epoxy-coated and Stone Sealed sinks are easily cleaned using a solution of clear dish soap and water in a spray bottle and wiped with a soft cloth.
What if my order arrives damaged?
All packages are fully insured. Damage to any item must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. We'll need you to provide pictures of both the item and the packaging; please do NOT THROW ANY OF THIS AWAY.
Sinks: Refunds/replacements for damaged sinks generally take 5–10 business days after a claim has been initiated with our shipping carrier, and we have their confirmation that they have all the needed evidence to complete the claim. We will do all we can to expedite this process.
Imports: Replacements and refunds are processed after photos of the item and packaging are provided within 24 hours demonstrating the damage. Felipe & Grace reserves the right to require the damaged item(s) be returned or destroyed prior to replacement/refund.
My package is marked as delivered, but I need help finding it. What do I do?
Felipe & Grace is not responsible for stolen or lost packages after the package has been delivered. If this is your situation, the following steps may be helpful:
1) Check with neighbors to see if the package arrived at the wrong address.
2) Wait 24 hours to see if it comes. Sometimes carriers prematurely mark a package as delivered.
3) File a report with the police, post office/FedEx/UPS, or your homeowners/renters insurance policy for a claim. You may also confirm GPS coordinates with the carrier.
Is there any additional information about a Natural Stone Sink that I should know?
Each sink is a literal hewn stone. There are natural variations in each sink. Your sink was tested before shipment to ensure water fastness and proper drainage with an open grid drain (1 –5/8"). Our clients have used larger drains with success. However, these can impede water flow if installed improperly. Each sink can be modified with a diamond bit to smooth or widen the drain gradient.
What is the difference between Epoxy Coated, Stone Sealant and Raw Hewn stone?
Stone has varying levels of porosity. All Felipe & Grace sinks begin as raw-hewn stone and are tested for impermeability. Each sink is hand-finished based on the individual nature of the stone and our customer's requests.
Beautiful high-polished Epoxy for the inner bowl is available. This coating option provides additional protection against wear and impermeability and simplifies cleanup! It brings out the natural beauty and color variations in the stone. We also offer a matte finish Epoxy as an upgrade. Message us for details!
Stone Sealant is a lighter coating that adds a protective layer to any sink. It is thinner than Epoxy and leaves more of the stone's original texture visible. This coating may need to be re-finished after a year or two, depending on use.
